EXEL LP detonator assemblies provide long delay, non-electric initiation at underground blast patterns. It can be initiated by detonating cord. EXEL LP assemblies have 26 standart delay periods and provide flexibility in underground development and production blastings, construction tunneling and shaft sinking.
EXEL LP assemblies consist of non-electric detonator and high strength shock tube, in 26 standart delay periods. It is quick and simple to connect, highly visible and easy to handle figure 8 coils.
EXEL LP assemblies reliably initiate all kind of cap sensitive explosives, stand up to tough underground conditions, provide excellent and flexible blast control, allow easy connection even with gloves, faciliates rapid hook up verification and do not tangle (no waste).
HANDLING & INITIATION
For not to have a premature detonation, damages to shock tube should be avoided and it should never be pulled so hard as to strectch or break shock tubing. EXEL MS assemblies can be initiated by 5gr. PETN detonating cord.
EXEL MS assemblies are wound in figure 8 coils and supplied in antistatic PE bags in flexible sleeve durable packages.
EXEL LP assemblies have a storage life up to 24 months in approved magazines.
