EXEL HTD

EXEL HTD non-electric, short delay, trunk line assemblies provide out-of-hole delays in non-electric blast patterns. Used in conjunction with EXEL HANDIDET or EXEL MS in-hole shock tube detonator assemblies, EXEL HTD assemblies provide flexibility in blast design and ease of use.

EXEL HTD assemblies can be used in quarries, surface coal mines, open pit and underground mines and construction projects to provide accurate surface timing.

PROPERTIES

EXEL HTD assemblies consist of non-electric detonator and high strength shock tube. It is quick and simple to connect, highly visible, has lower energy design and easy to handle figure 8 coils.

BENEFITS

EXEL HTD assemblies do not require burying because of its lower shrapnel damage potential, provide excellent and flexible blast control, allow easy connection even with gloves, faciliates rapid hook up verification and do not tangle (no waste).

HANDLING & INITIATION

For not to have a premature detonation, damages to shock tube should be avoided and it should never be pulled so hard as to strectch or break shock tubing.

EXEL HTD

assemblies are unidirectional can be initiated by another Orica shock tube surface delay system, electric detonator or electronic detonator.

EXEL HTD

assemblies are not designed to initiate detonating cord, this may result misfires.

PACKAGING

EXEL MS assemblies are wound in figure 8 coils and supplied in antistatic PE bags in flexible sleeve durable packages.

STORAGE

EXEL MS assemblies have a storage life up to 18 months in approved magazines.
